Working draft. This document is prepared for review by a UK solicitor before production launch, and wording may change at that review.
Who we are
Vial Loop is a trading name of Pinetree Deployments LTD. References to “Vial Loop”, “we”, “us” and “our” in this document mean Pinetree Deployments LTD.
Company number: 17428882. Registered office: Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration ZC235487. That entry on the ICO register carries the registration certificate.
The programme
The Founding 100 is the launch cohort of the Vial Loop platform: the first 100 approved merchants. Registration through this website is a request to join; it creates no account and takes no payment.
Approval, and what claims a place
Registrations are reviewed in the order they arrive. A Founding 100 place is claimed when and only when a registration is approved and its account activated; submitting a registration holds no place, and the availability counter on this site counts approved places only. Vial Loop may decline a registration and does not have to give a reason, though it usually will.
The introductory transaction rate
For 14 days from the date an approved Founding 100 merchant’s account opens, the Vial Loop transaction fee is 2 per cent of each payment successfully processed through the platform, in place of the merchant’s plan rate. After that period the plan rate applies. This is a reduced rate and not a waiver: payment processing carries third party costs on every transaction. The rate has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged, and ends with the account if the account closes.
The free platform period
An approved Founding 100 merchant is not charged the monthly platform fee for their plan for the first 31 days from the date the account opens. The free period has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged, and ends with the account if the account closes. It applies to the platform fee only and not to the transaction fee, which is charged from the first payment at the introductory rate described above.
When the subscription starts
The monthly platform fee for the merchant’s plan is charged upfront from the end of the free platform period, at the plan rate current at that date. There is no further deferral after it.
No long term contract
There is no long term contract. Cancellation and billing mechanics are set out in the platform agreement provided at account opening, and they will match what the pricing page says.
What BETA means
- Features may change, improve or be withdrawn while in BETA.
- Integrations labelled BETA or planned are exactly that, and nothing is presented as live before it is.
- Feedback is welcome and helps set the roadmap, but creates no obligation.
Your data during BETA

Ending participation
You can withdraw a registration or leave the programme at any time by asking. Vial Loop may remove a participant who breaches the platform agreement or the acceptable use rules in the Terms of Use.
